You might need to reinstall the drivers any ways. (Check sony for updates) You might also want to try reinstalling the software it came with(Maybe Nero?).Both my Roms quit on me I'd had the drive aprox. 6 months and while burning with nero I got to 100% and the program froze. a normal thing.... i was on hold 90% of the time, and i knew before i called them that the drive was bad. my review here
